Ava's First Tooth Makes an Appearance

New couch, Ava, etc.

Our new couch!  We sold our old couch on Craigslist, then we sold our black leather chair, the coffee table, and the end tables. Now we have a lot more seating available and a lot more space in the living room.  Plus, this sectional is super comfy!

 Ava really wanted her ears pierced so we decided to give in and let her do it.  We warned her that it would hurt a little at first, but she was prepared.  She was such a good girl and after a little cry she was smiling and happy!  It was hardest for Daddy to stand there and just watch...

Nein and Pa come to visit Ava!

 We are expecting great weather for their visit!  The very cool view from my backyard. 

 Ava is very amused at seeing herself in the mirror.  She prepares a big smile for her grandparents.

 She waits patiently for them to arrive.  

 She finally gets to meet Nein (Shla)!  She really got excited when Nein wore her glasses.

 You can definitely see the resemblance!  She loved being carried around by Pa.

 She doesn't usually like sitting down, but Pa made for a nice chair.

 At 3.5 months she is starting to teethe.  She played with her lower lip attempting to get some relief.

 Daddy had to run out and get some teething gel in order to relieve some of the pain.  It makes for some cute pictures though!

 Ava enjoyed spending the week with Nein and Pa.
