Beaches, Biscuits and Birthdays

Ava loves making silly faces.

Dressing up in her dress from Nana, all ready for Mass! She has THE most sensitive skin I have ever seen.  It gets a lot worse when she is teething.

At the beach with mommy.  Ava and Amanda were able to go to Tahoe and San Jose for a week of relaxation before Jamal is born. 

Ava loved just sitting on the beach and playing in the sand.  Next summer daddy will need to build Ava a sandbox for the backyard.

Time to wash all that sand away! Ava decided she wanted a sink bath.  She is very particular about where she takes baths.

All of these presents and of course she had more fun with the balloons and wrapping paper.

Mommy had to help a little with the wrapping paper.

She loves the tea set from Nana and Pa! 

"Anything else down there?"

"More clothes!!" She had to show everyone what she got.  She got the hang of birthday presents very quickly.

Now it's time for cupcakes!  Once she ate the icing, she wasn't interested in the cake.

All this excitement makes for a very tired girl.  After the sugar high she crashed and was a little bit cranky.
